A Unix-based, Internet-aware text paging system that implements the Telocator Alphanumeric Protocol (TAP). beepage is a client/server package for text paging. Text pages sent over TCP/IP are received via TPP, or Text Paging Protocol, by the provided Unix-based server, which transmit the data to any paging service providers that support the Telocator Alpha-numeric Protocol (TAP).
