For whatever reason it was occupying 75%-95% of my CPU while installed. Finally figured out why my machine was so slow, remove the widget, and now have a happy machine again.I cannot recommend this widget for any reason. Last note on this widget. I have updated the post to include a warning about possible privacy issues with this widget, and to point out that Apple's Pages application can easily open a .docx file, and Apple's Numbers will open a xlsx file without trouble.
