NYC, New York – May 20, 2009 – Do you use iTunes? Want to dress up your latest downloads? Blaine Graboyes and Jesse Blanco are pleased to announce the Public Alpha release of TRAKART, a Visualizer Plug-In for iTunes that “automagically” makes realtime contextual music videos for iTunes 7.4 or higher.
How does TRAKART work? TRAKART translates each song into a stream of search terms, creating a random but relevant slideshow for your tracks, and making each song come to life in new and unexpected ways. Images are sourced from public Flickr feeds and streamed lived to your computer as you listen.
The current TRAKART Public Alpha release is open to the public but for Mac-only. Our goal is to use feedback from the Public Alpha to tweak the plug-in for a full release this summer with Windows support. An iPhone App is also planned for this summer.
TRAKART was programmed by developer Belprog, based in Belarus, and is being released, for a limited time, on a freeware model. Early donations over $5 will earn a license for lifetime upgrades when the software goes to a paid model in the future.
